The car has one wiper. It moves along the glass. The wiper is made specifically for the shape of the car glass, repeating its curve. Due to the curvature of the windshield, the wiper is located on the center line of the glass. When at rest, the wiper is in the center of the windshield. If the window were flat, it could be hidden under the hood, but since the window is curved, the wiper will not cover the entire surface of the window from under the hood. The wiper has a frameless design, it is a plastic case with a thin metal plate made of spring steel built into it to ensure normal adhesion of the wiper rubber to the curved surface. The advantage of this design is an elegant appearance, no loosening of the frame, less icing and, as a result, greater mobility. The main cleaning function is performed by brushes with a silicone blade, located on the wipers using a special leash (brush holder). The windshield wiper drive with a gearbox ensures the movement of the wipers. The wiper uses a mechanical drive of an electric type. It consists of rods and levers, the task of which is to convert the rotational motion created by the electric drive into reciprocating motion and transmit it to the leash.
