You Can Watch Collapses & Explode Of The Cylinder From This Link Blow : https://youtu.be/nplo-hSFGKU Breakdown of the Specifications · Tie Rod Hydraulic Cylinder: · Construction: Four or more high-strength threaded steel rods hold the front and rear end caps to the cylinder barrel. · Benefit: This design is robust, easy to disassemble for maintenance and repair, and conforms to international standards like ISO 6020/2 . Parker's HMI and HMD series are examples of metric tie rod cylinders for working pressures up to 210 bar . Common applications include machine tools, injection molding machines, presses, and transfer lines . · End Rear Eye - Rear Mount: · This specifies the mounting style. The cylinder is designed to be pinned at the rear (cap end) using an integrated eye (clevis). · Benefit: This mounting configuration allows the cylinder to pivot, accommodating misalignment and allowing the cylinder to swing as it follows an arc-shaped path during operation. At the cap end, mounting accessories like eye brackets are selected by cylinder bore size . · Dimensions (40x25.4x85): · 40 mm: The Bore Diameter. The internal diameter of the cylinder barrel. · 25.4 mm: The Rod Diameter. The thickness of the piston rod. Note: 25.4mm is exactly 1 inch, suggesting this may be an inch-series cylinder (like Parker's 2H or 3L series) or a metric cylinder with a non-standard rod size . · 85 mm: The Stroke Length. The maximum distance the piston travels.

You Can Watch Collapses & Explode Of The Cylinder From This Link Blow : https://youtu.be/jjTQnehJAWA What is a Stopper Cylinder? A stopper cylinder (also called a stop cylinder or pneumatic stop) is a specialized pneumatic actuator designed to precisely stop and position moving workpieces or pallets on conveyor lines and automated assembly systems . Unlike standard cylinders that provide linear motion, stopper cylinders integrate a robust stopper pin or lever mechanism that pops up to block advancing objects and retracts to allow them to pass . The core function is to provide ultra-high positioning accuracy with excellent repeatability, surpassing pneumatic or electric braking alternatives . These cylinders are engineered to withstand significant impacts, with some models rated to stop loads up to 90kg .

You Can Watch Collapses & Explode Of The Cylinder From This Link Blow : https://youtu.be/X0HHC86Y-io Big Tie Rod Type Hydraulic Cylinder: This construction uses four or more high-strength threaded steel rods to hold the front and rear end caps to the cylinder barrel. This design is standard for NFPA (National Fluid Power Association) industrial cylinders and is known for its durability and serviceability. Leading manufacturers like Bosch Rexroth and AVENTICS produce these cylinders with key features such as high-tensile steel tie rods with rolled threads, one-piece ductile iron bearings, and advanced wear-resistant sealing systems . Flat Foot Fixed Mount (Style "B"): The "Flat Foot" or "Foot Mount" (often designated as Style "B") consists of two mounting feet, one bolted to the front end cap and one to the rear end cap . · "Fixed" Meaning: This is a rigid mount. The cylinder is bolted down by its feet and does not pivot. The mounting plane is offset from the cylinder's centerline. · Critical Consideration: Unlike centerline mounts (like trunnions), foot mounts impose a bending moment on the cylinder barrel when the cylinder pushes or pulls. For a cylinder this large (280 mm bore), this bending stress is significant and must be accounted for in the machine design .

You Can Watch Collapses & Explode Of The Cylinder From This Link Blow : https://youtu.be/G21GHudanX4 Breakdown of the Specifications · Double Acting: · The cylinder generates power and motion in both directions (extend and retract) . · Compressed air is used to push the piston forward, and compressed air is used on the opposite side to pull it back. This provides controlled force in both strokes without relying on a spring . · Circular Rear Mount: · This specifies the mounting style. The cylinder is designed to be fixed from the rear end cap using a circular flange or threaded body . · Benefit: This mounting configuration provides a rigid, fixed attachment point at the rear, ensuring precise alignment and preventing movement of the cylinder body during operation. It is ideal for applications where the cylinder must be securely anchored and the rod is directly connected to a load moving in a straight line. · Dimensions (20x8x26): · 20 mm: The Bore Diameter. This is the internal diameter of the cylinder barrel. A 20mm bore is considered a small, compact pneumatic cylinder suitable for light to medium-duty applications . · 8 mm: The Rod Diameter. The thickness of the piston rod. This influences the rod's resistance to bending under load. · 26 mm: The Stroke Length. The maximum distance the piston travels. This is an extremely short stroke, indicating the cylinder is designed for very precise, small-distance movements . 2. Technical Characteristics · Force Output: · This cylinder generates modest force suitable for light automation tasks. · Example Calculation: Operating at a standard pressure of 6 bar (approx. 87 PSI): · Piston Area = π × (1.0 cm)² ≈ 3.14 cm² · Theoretical Push Force ≈ 3.14 cm² × 6 kg/cm² = 18.8 kg (approx. 41 lbs). · Pneumatic cylinders typically operate within a pressure range of 0.1 to 1.0 MPa (1 to 10 bar) . · Short Stroke Characteristics: · The 26mm stroke is very short, meaning the cylinder is designed for tasks requiring small, precise movements rather than long travel. This could include pushing, lifting, or positioning small components in automated assembly . · Double-Acting Advantage: · Because it is double-acting, it provides active force in both directions. This is useful for applications requiring controlled retraction as well as extension, such as gripping, clamping, or reciprocating motion

In production design workflows, verifying SolidWorks Drawing BOM Availability is one of the most important quality checks before releasing drawings for manufacturing. A drawing may look complete, with views, dimensions, and annotations, but still be missing a Bill of Materials (BOM). When that happens, downstream teams such as procurement, assembly planning, or manufacturing may receive incomplete documentation. This tutorial explains how to check SolidWorks Drawing BOM Availability using SolidWorks VBA through the SOLIDWORKS API. The macro analyzes the active drawing and determines whether a BOM exists by examining both table annotations and BOM features. By implementing this simple automation check, engineering teams can integrate CAD validation into their workflow and reduce release mistakes.

Introduction: This Sheet Metal Validation System was developed by Ramu Gopal as part of CAD automation work focused on improving pre-manufacturing validation in SolidWorks workflows. In sheet metal design, small errors in bend deduction, bend allowance, or K-factor selection can create major manufacturing problems. A wrong bend value can lead to incorrect flat patterns, rework, scrap, and production delay. To reduce these issues, I developed a Sheet Metal Validation System for SolidWorks. The purpose of this system is to validate bend logic, detect deviations, and improve confidence before a design reaches manufacturing. This work is part of my broader focus on CAD automation, SolidWorks API, and engineering validation systems.

Hi Friends, Over the past few years, I have developed vehicle concepts focused on low-volume and startup-friendly manufacturing strategies. The goal was to create a bold, futuristic electric off-road vehicle that significantly reduces initial body tooling investment for low-volume production. My work integrates press-brake fabrication logic, reduced tooling methodologies and production-aware surface modelling using Alias and CATIA. I am particularly motivated by projects where design storytelling, engineering constraints and business realities converge. https://youtu.be/aZtHjlFPByc
