Hey everyone,

Thought I'd reactivate this group with something exciting I'm working on. For anyone unaware, I modeled up a Kar98k and shared it here on GrabCAD. It was the basis for a project I started years ago, but finally had some time to complete. My goal was to design some hardware that allows you to mount a modern optic on the Kar98k without any permanent modifications to the rifle.

After more than 10 long years, here is the complete model of the Kar98k. This is probably the last major upload you'll see from me. GrabCAD is no longer a place for professionals to share, discuss, and critique quality work. The staff have let this place become infested with bots, spammers, scamm...

Well after a few weeks of waiting, my parts finally arrived, and slapped together like a dream. I only had a small fitment issue that was remedied with a file, taking about 0.010" off of a part.
