How to open inventor files on Solidworks?

I am working on a project with my FRC team however they all use inventors while I use Solidworks. I was wondering if there is a way to open their assemblies in Solidworks? All the part files are scattered among multiple folders. Is there a way to open an assembly without having to find each individual part?

Export as a common file type (i.e. Step). Or, I believe if you have Inventor, and SOLIDWORKS installed on the same computer, SW will open an Inventor file. Not sure if you get anything better than an imported Step file, but it's worth a try. Let us know the results.

If you don't need to maintain the scattered, multiple folders for some reason. Copy all the files to a common folder, and work from there.

make sure the inventor file in on .step format if not then save the file in .step and open with solid works.
