Start a sketch and click tools>sketch tools>sketch picture. Navigate to the picture you want. Presto!

You can also paste, or insert an image into SW as an OLE object. The advantage is the image always stays on top, and is easy to move around (compared to an image embedded in a sketch).
I paste object in sometimes if the shape or dimensions are complex, and I don't want to toggle back and forth to another program (like acrobat). It is mostly useful if I'm not working with a 2nd monitor.
