how can i convert stl file to step
i tryed with freecad , i sucess converting the stl file to step but the step file
is too big 100 mo, originaly the stl is 4.5 mo
any help or can someone do the conversion to step

Understand that even if you can covert it to a step file you still get a mesh surface, meaning a bunch of facet triangles, not a smooth surface. I do not think there is a software available that can fully convert to a true .step file.
