The hood is a part of the car body. It prevents moisture, dust, and dirt from getting inside the car. The hood provides easy access to the front trunk, engine, and suspension. It is designed to improve the aerodynamics of the car by reducing air resistance. The hood consists of outer and inner panels connected with glue. The outer panel is smooth and made of carbon fiber prepreg. The inner panel is also made of carbon fiber prepreg but has stiffening ribs. The hood is attached to the monocoque with two internal hinges that allow you to adjust its position relative to the opening of the front luggage compartment. The hood opens backwards in the direction of the car. Its front part rests on rubber buffers. In the front part of the hood there is a lock with a hook that prevents the hood from opening spontaneously while driving. The lock drive is electronic and mechanical. The lock is unlocked from inside the cabin using a button on the multimedia display screen. In the open position, the hood is fixed with a special carbon fiber rod-type stop.
