The car uses an independent, spring, double wishbone suspension with hydraulic shock absorbers and an anti-roll bar for the front and rear wheels. In such a suspension, the movement of one wheel does not cause the movement of the other wheel. These suspensions provide a smoother ride than dependent suspensions. Unlike other types of suspensions, the design of the double wishbone suspension offers a more progressive geometry. The more the suspension with double wishbones is compressed, the greater the negative camber, which is achieved by using levers of different lengths. This has a positive effect on control at moments when the car is driving at high speed in a turn and the car begins to slide off the trajectory. At these moments, the suspension system on the wishbones will maintain better contact between the tire and the road, which means the car will be more stable. An additional advantage of the double wishbone suspension is the smaller dimensions of the upper arm relative to the lower one. In this regard, during the upward movement of the wheel, the camber angle changes, as a result of which the plane of the wheel remains perpendicular to the road surface even during body roll. In general, depending on the length and location of the A-shaped levers themselves, it is possible to adjust the camber and toe angle. The suspension guide device is the lower and upper arms, the elastic device is the coiled cylindrical springs, the damping device is the double-acting gas-spring shock absorbers, and the anti-roll bar is an elastic U-shaped rod. The upper and lower suspension arms are installed across the car and have longitudinal rolling axes. The axis of the lower arm and upper arm are attached to the bracket on the frame. The inner ends of the upper and lower arms are connected to the axles by ball joints.

Ball joint

The outer ends of the upper and lower suspension arms are connected to the steering knuckle by ball joints. Ball joints allow you to adjust the length of the lever. The ball joint has a thread so the length of the lever can be easily changed. The ball joints are non-separable, have the same design, are interchangeable and do not require lubrication during operation. The shock absorber is attached to the lower arm bracket with a rubber-metal hinge at its lower end. The upper end of the shock absorber is attached to the bracket on the car frame with a rubber-metal hinge. The suspension provides a compression stroke of 75 mm and a recoil stroke of 80 mm. The levers are made of structural aluminum alloy. To manufacture them, parts of the pipes are arc welded using special equipment.
