From the Leads Flex perspective, automating material validation and thickness checks at the assembly level addresses a real bottleneck, especially in sheet-metal–heavy assemblies. DXF generation itself is rarely the issue; catching incorrect materials and gauges early is what saves time. The real test will be how reliably this works with configurations, cut lists, and revision changes without disrupting feature history. If handled well, it fits naturally into production-grade workflows.

If Save to part list is selected when creating the configuration, it will see those 2 different parts as separate parts. As an example, I can give you an example of a lower table and an upper table of the same size. It only allows you to evaluate the difference in thickness and hole size as a separate part and understand that there is a problem.

The other thing we're working on these days is a detail that lets you see their bug reports if they're designed not to be opened, and extra details that show if the holes are aligned.
